Office suites often have frameless glass doors set into glass partitions, held by patch fittings or top and bottom pivots. Clinics and reception areas use hinged or automatic glass entries that patients and visitors pass through all day. In apartments, the usual door glass is a balcony slider. Every one of these needs Grade A safety glass. With frameless doors we also check the fittings and floor spring, because the glass and hardware work as one system and a worn part can crack a new panel.

It needs a marking, but not necessarily the same one. AS 1288 requires many frameless glass panels and doors to carry a visible marking so people notice the glass. The new band can match the original, or you can choose a new design that still meets the requirement.
Mention this in your first message. We can talk through timing the work for when the clinic is closed, or keeping a second door leaf usable while one panel is replaced. If the glass has already failed, making the opening safe comes first. Photos of the entrance help us plan.
