Yes, and it is a good time to do it. If the panel is toughened, the hole for the pet door has to be cut before the glass is toughened, so it is built into the new panel. Tell us the pet door size and where you want it before the glass is ordered.
Visibility markings, such as a band or decals across the glass at child and adult eye level, make the panel easier to see. Some glass doors and panels need marking under AS 1288. The door should also be safety glass, so we check the stamp when we look at it.
